Electroluminescent properties of a Schiff-base aluminum complex in single layer polymer light-emitting diodes

摘要: The Schiff-base ligand aluminum complex, [AILMe 2 ] [L = ortho-C6H4(NC6H3Me2-2,6)(CH=NC6H3Me2-2,6)l, has been synthesised and characterised; its electroluminescent properties are reported. Electroluminescent devices were fabricated by doping [AlLme in a polymer host of poly (vinylcarbazole) (PVK) 2-tert-butylphenyl-5-biphenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole (PBD) using simple solution spin-coating technique. single-layer organic light-emitter exhibited green emission, showed maximum current efficiency 1.4 cd/A luminance near 1000 cd/m .
