摘要: An experimental and theoretical study of premixed flame propagation in a number small-scale, cylindrical vessels is described. The provides further understanding the generation overpressure explosions, allows assessment mathematical model explosions through comparisons with data obtained. Laser sheet images gathered on location, shape, overpressures generated during course an empty vessel obstacle-containing enclosures elucidate dynamics various combustion processes occurring different chambers vessels. In particular, vessels, up until front venting, found to be substantially laminar, significant only being later stages due rapid turbulent shear layers recirculation zones induced by obstacles. Comparisons between measurements predictions also demonstrate that described reasonable simulation within obstacle containing type investigated, predicted sufficient accuracy yield results for generated.
