摘要: Purpose: To evaluate the effects of topical timolol and apraclonidine on retrobulbar blood flow velocity waveforms in a group healthy volunteers. Methods: Apraclonidine 1% maleate 0.5% single dose administrations were crossed over double masked 12 volunteers. The intraocular pressure measurements followed by Doppler examination ophthalmic artery central retinal artery. Results: Intraocular was reduced significantly both treated fellow eyes after (p = 0.003, p 0.04 respectively) 0.002, 0.01 respectively). After administration end diastolic velocity, mean decreased pulsatility index increased eyes. Resistivity peak systolic only All indices remained nonsignificant for eyes. After there no significant changes eyes. Conclusion: Topical pressure. Single vascular impedance distal to artery. On other hand, had effect impedance.
