摘要: Possible modulated structures of icosahedral quasicrystals are investigated. The phases regarded as lower symmetric where the global symmetry is broken due to mode locking phason degrees freedom. With help group theory, nonvanishing fields calculated for all possible breaking. A modified projection scheme in presence obtained quasicrystalline with tetrahedral, pentagonal, and trigonal symmetries.
