摘要: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune demyelinating disorder of the central nervous system. We have previously demonstrated that HHV-6 infection increases risk MS and particular single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in IL2RA IL7RA genes modestly enhance this disease positive subjects. To assess whether human leukocyte antigen (HLA) genetic determinants affect susceptibility to MS, blood samples were collected from 41 patients 38 controls. Subject HLA profiles then determined by DNA sequence specific primers (SSP) typing. Detection was carried out using nested PCR while allele detection performed restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis. observed increase individuals harboring A*2301 (p=0.033) A*0301 (p=0.032) alleles. Double positivity for DQB1*0501 enhanced (p=0.036) itself not associated with disorder. Combinational SNPs, addition various alleles did result significant our study population. Hence, These do exert same effects uninfected individuals.
