摘要: D. Benveniste,* O. Berg, and J. E. Poul Pedersen, Nykr Falstel, Denmark GREGORY AND ASSOCIATES 1 introduced continuous positive airway pressure three years ago as a useful adjunct in the management of respiratory failure hyaline membrane disease newborn infant. Some authors ~, :' have used CPAP also for weaning infants from ventilator. Many techniques been presented. These include application pressure: (1) around head or at face baby3-12; (2) through nose by means nasal masks intranasal tubes13-1~; (3) tube intubated child ~- 16. ~7; (4) negative thoracic cavity. ~8-~ The mechanical devices so far constructed are more less cumbersome. In ventilatory therapy, particularly young infants, one objectives is simple safe equipment to protect facilitate nursing care. Recently Carden associates ~ presented light-weight device Venturi CPAP. 1968 ~2 we described anaesthesia ventilation small infants. We subsequently simplified construction it delivery who distress syndrome.
