摘要: The oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsalis, is an economically damaging, polyphagous pest of crops in South-East Asia and Hawaii, a quarantine other parts the world. objective our study was to identify new attractants for B. dorsalis from overripe mango fruits. Headspace samples volatiles were collected two cultivars mango, 'Alphonso' 'Chausa', strong positive behavioral response observed when female exposed these olfactometer bioassays. Coupled GC-EAG with revealed 7 compounds headspace 15 'Chausa' that elicited EAG response. EAG-active compounds, 'Alphonso', identified, using GC-MS, as heptane, myrcene, (Z)-ocimene, (E)-ocimene, allo-ocimene, (Z)-myroxide, γ-octalactone, ocimene isomers being dominant compounds. 3-hydroxy-2-butanone, 3-methyl-1-butanol, ethyl butanoate, methacrylate, crotonate, tiglate, 1-octen-3-ol, hexanoate, 3-carene, p-cymene, sorbate, α-terpinolene, phenyl alcohol, octanoate, benzothiazole. Individual significantly attractive standard dose (1 μg on filter paper) tested olfactometer. Furthermore, synthetic blends same concentration ratio natural highly (P < 0.001), choice test, flies did not show any preference over blends. Results are discussed relation developing lure bait traps with.
