摘要: A recently developed kinetic model has been applied here to describe the polyester-styrene addition copolymerization. By assuming that termination step is negligible and reaction rate between inhibitor initiator free radical much, faster than any other reactions, mechanism can be simplified expressed as a single equation. The parameters, constant of decomposition propagation, are estimated from induction time peak exotherm isothermal differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) curves. Temperature profiles inside plate sections SMC parts during molding predicted by mathematical in which polymerization coupled with heat transfer. temperature compare well experimental results. also used predict cure different part thicknesses, mold concentration. Glass fibers playa role sink conductor curing. Adding glass not only lowered maximum but reduced time.
