摘要: A simple model discrimination method for RAFT polymerization mechanism, proposed on a theoretical basis, is applied to the polystyryl dithiobenzoate-mediated styrene polymerization. It confirmed that intermediate termination (IT) major reason rate retardation. The utilizes finding IT shows significantly larger in miniemulsion compared with corresponding bulk polymerization, while slow fragmentation does not change rate. increases as droplet size made smaller, which agrees reasonably well prediction. present easy apply, and would provide great insight into both basic research
