摘要: Abstract It is shown that the results of temporal correlation analysis signals obtained in spaced-receiver method measuring ionospheric motions can be seriously affected by antenna-to-antenna coupling. The coupling increase or decrease computed drift speed depending upon properties incident signal and complex coefficients among antennas, but typical experimental systems erroneously low speeds may predominate. Velocity errors 50 per cent result from system levels 20 dB. A practical procedure for illustrated. closely-spaced antenna cannot considered reliable without such calibration. principles developed here apply generally to analyses spaced sensor measurements.
