Polio immunization policy in Mexico: economic assessment of current practice and future alternatives.

摘要: Summary The World Health Organization recommends that all children aged less than 5 years should be vaccinated against polio through intensive immunization programmes as well routine immunization. A national week (NIW) was held in February 2002 the Monterrey district of Mexico. prospective micro-costing study conducted to measure total cost state NIW, profile, and ratio per contact dose oral vaccine (OPV), compare OPV inactive (IPV) economic terms. Two scenarios were used basis for calculation. volunteers excluded from ‘lower-cost scenario’ included ‘upper-cost scenario’.
