摘要: A simple and rapid distance paper-based analytical device (dPAD) for the detection of lead (Pb) in foods is proposed herein. The assay principle based on competitive binding between carminic acid (CA) polyethyleneimine (PEI) to Pb a food sample. paper channels were pre-immobilized with PEI, before reacting mixture sample CA. can strongly bind CA; hence, length red color deposition flow channel decreased as lower amount free CA bound PEI. dPAD exhibited good linear correlation, ranges 5-100 µg·mL-1 (R2 = 0.974) Pb. Although, limit (LOD) this platform was rather high, at 12.3 µg·mL-1, series standard additions (8.0, 9.0, 10.0 µg·mL-1) be used interpret cutoff concentrations higher or than 2 µg·mL-1. presence common metal ions such calcium, magnesium, nickel, zinc did not interfere readout. validity developed demonstrated by its applicability screen contamination century egg samples. results obtained from are accordance concentration measured atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) (n 9). In conclusion, dPAD, combined addition method, could applied screening matrices. This is, therefore, potentially applicable field measurements developing countries, because it cheap rapid, requires no significant laborious instruments.
