摘要: Abstract The effect of the notch sharpening on fracture toughness measured under Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics (LEFM), Elastic–Plastic (EPFM) and Post-Yielding (PYFM) approaches has been evaluated. Bulk film specimens an ethylene–propylene block copolymer have analyzed. samples for characterization were sharpened using a steel razor blade femtosecond laser ablation technique. Both notching techniques give rise to crack tip radii very same size. via femtolaser ∼10%, ∼75% ∼90% lower than that when determined with help LEFM, EPFM approach as multiple specimen method, by Essential Work Fracture, respectively. in bulk films, presence plastic deformation, either large or small, occurring ahead during seems be reason difference values.
