摘要: Immunohistochemical staining for estrogen receptor (ER) status is widely used in the management of breast cancer. These stains have traditionally been scored manually, which results generally good agreement among observers when cases are strongly positive. However, significant interobserver and intraobserver differences scoring can occur borderline or weakly cases. Recently, automated systems proposed to provide a more sensitive objective method ER quantification. The ChromaVision Automated Cellular Imaging System Applied Ariol SL-50 quantify color intensity immunoreactive product. To assess accuracy these 2 compare them one another manual scoring, we performed immunostaining on 64 percentages positive cells were manually by 4 pathologists imaging systems. A discrepancy was defined as that resulted reclassification case from negative vice versa. Our showed between When scores compared with scores, only 5 (7%) discrepant. In these, percentage low (0% 20%). Overall, comparable, discrepant most frequently seen analyzing tumors levels cells.
