摘要: Angiotensin II (Ang II) exerts a majority of its known cardiovascular activities through the AT1 receptor. This receptor is member 7-transmembrane superfamily and it actions via coupling to various G-proteins. Its downstream effectors include adenylate-cyclase, phospholipases ion channels. Moreover, tyrosine kinase pathways have been reported be activated by which result in stimulation early response genes controlling cell growth. action has observed several lines including cardiac myocytes vascular smooth muscle cells. studies strongly implicate renin angiotensin system initiation progression atherosclerosis. Therefore, blockade this should influence not only tone but may also dramatic effects on structure.
