摘要: Scientific and biotechnological advances have made it possible for us to modify the genes of organisms, including animals. There are many beneficial applications this technology in scientific medical research as well agriculture. However, there also bioethical concerns related genetically modified animals much contention about moral justifiability applying biotechnology. This entry discusses various kinds ethical issues surrounding their use medicine It addresses fundamental questions animal welfare, human safety, environment, patenting commercialization, global inequality.
