摘要: We present the experimental results and theoretical model describing new adsorption kinetics of single-walled carbon nanotubes (swCNTs) onto self-assembled monolayer (SAM) including their sliding motion. The behavior swCNTs on large-size SAM patterns is similar to Langmuir isotherm, while that nanoscale shows a significant deviation which can be explained by motion adsorbed nanotubes. “sliding chamber” experiment confirms align along right above surfaces. This result provides scientific insights regarding one-dimensional nanostructures, and, from practical point view, it an important guideline design assemble nanowires into desired device structures.
