摘要: Abstract Intramolecular excimer formation with dibiphenylpropane in several alkane solvents is reported. By a combination of fluorescence decay time and quantum yield measurements the rate constants describing deactivation values for Δ H S equilibrium could be determined. These data are compared results obtained di(2-naphthyl) propane di(1-pyrenyl) propane. It argued that difficulty to observe emission biphenyl under photoexcitation from very large value −Δ . A comparison between [2.2] biphenylophane points an unusually weak transannular interaction phane.
