摘要: The aim of this study was to identify risk factors associated with postoperative pulmonary complications. influence the anaesthetic technique evaluated (i.e. general contra regional anaesthesia and long intermediately acting muscle relaxants (pancuronium atracurium)) taking into account patient's age, presence or absence chronic obstructive lung disease (preoperative factors), type surgery duration (perioperative factors). Seven thousand twenty-nine patients undergoing abdominal, urological, gynaecological orthopaedic were included in study. A total 290 (4.1%) suffered from one more Six sixty-two received 4.5% these had Of admitted major receiving pancuronium, 12.7% (135/1062) developed complications, compared only 5.1% (23/449) atracurium (P<0.05). When stratified for anaesthesia, conventional statistics showed no difference between pancuronium as regard However, a logistic regression analysis indicated that long-lasting procedures involving entailed higher complications than did other procedures. In having 1.9% (18/967) (P<0.05 anaesthesia). when there significantly incidence under 11.5% 3.6% given anaesthesia. By utilizing regression, model prediction developed. variables found be significant predicting complications: high abdominal surgery, emergency history disease, (≥ 180 min) order given.
