Serous cystadenocarcinoma of the pancreas: a new entity?

摘要: Microcystic cystadenoma of the pancreas is a well-recognized although rare pathological entity. All previously reported examples this tumor have been uniformly benign in behavior. In case report, we present primary that was histologically indistinguishable from microcystic adenoma, but which behaved malignant fashion. Metastases were found stomach and liver. We believe represents new entity, termed "serous cystadenocarcinoma pancreas."
