摘要: Abstract W–W brazed joints (tungsten block: 8 × 8 × 4 mm joined to an actively cooled copper heat sink) were exposed steady state loads study the effect of thermal fatigue on their microstructure, mechanical integrity and transfer capability. Two different surface temperatures tested (1000 °C 1250 °C) varying number applied cycles (100 1000). The results indicated that a temperature 1000 °C represents limit condition for be used in DEMO fusion reactor, which corresponds braze range 562–599 °C according simulation results. use caused limited microstructure capability both 100 1000 cycles. increase 1250 °C degradation joint reduction sustained accordingly lifetime.
