摘要: Background: To assess differences in marginal bone loss implants placed at subcrestal versus crestal level. Methods: An electronic and a manual research of articles written English from Jaunary 2010 to January 2018 was performed by two independent reviewers. Clinical trials comparing for level were included. Pooled estimates comparable studies analyzed using continuous random-effects model meta-analysis with the objective assessing between vertical positions. Results: 16 included; 10 did not encounter statistically significant groups respect loss. Three found greater implants; while 3 more implants. A randomized control trial (RCT) reported an average non-statistically different 0.028 mm. Conclusions: high survival rate obtained both implants’ placement. Quantitative analysis considering homogenous sample confirms that positions are equally valid terms perimplant However, soft tissue; presence thin placement implant should be preferred as it may reduce probability become exposed future thus avoid risk suffering peri-implant pathologies.
