摘要: Publisher Summary Chemistry of one-carbon-atom molecules (C 1 chemistry) is an important area research for the organometallic chemist. The motivation these efforts stems from belief that raw material base commercial organic chemicals will shift oil to coal, owing both economic reasons and declining petroleum reserves. Prior a discussion CO 2 insertion reactions into M–H M–C bonds, it useful review some known coordination chemistry carbon dioxide, because activation by metal centers assumed be significance in most processes. In principle, transition-metal hydrogen bond can result either M–O or formation––that is, production metalloformate metallocarboxylic acid derivatives. Some very interesting work on reversible dioxide palladium–carbon bonds has been reported recently Braunstein coworkers. , with –hydroxides, –alkoxides, –amides provide metallobicarbonates, –alkyl carbonates, –carbarnates general do not involve prior center. use as industrial source chemical limited mainly carboxylic acids, ureas. chapter discusses recent literature relevant its carbon.
