摘要: Brain catecholamine and serotonin neurons are intimately involved in a number of relevant physiological functions such as cardiovascular regulation, neuroendocrine output from the anterior pituitary (e.g. ACTH, prolactin), regulation behavior aggression, sleep, locomotor sexual behavior), mood or appetite control [1–5]. The modification transmitter synthesis release appears to be remarkably correlated with subsequent changes observed. While there numerous pharmacological approaches that affect respective neurotransmitter products (i.e. catecholamines dopamine, noradrenaline adrenaline indoleamine serotonin), one particular attractive (while specific) approach is administration precursor amino acid. It thus prerequisite for possibly therapeutical properties acids L-tyrosine L-tryptophan they their product. For understanding nature different responses some neurochemical mechanism guiding need briefly described.
