摘要: Factors influencing the phage-typability of coagulase-negative Micrococcaceae have been studied in 2,778 clinical isolates comprising A) 209 consecutive from one laboratory, B) 2,107 strains submitted for phage-typing epidemiological reasons, and C) 462 representing all presumed significance found two laboratories during month. The reproducibility was acceptable at duplicate repeated typing same as well by epidemiologically-related pairs patient. Strains Staphylococcus haemolyticus were seldom typable, whereas S. epidermidis hominis had a higher typability. Methicillin-resistant other multiple-resistant rarely typable (11-13%). typability among susceptible (36%) resistant to penicillin only (43-50%). species antibiotic-resistance pattern differed between hospitals compared decreased markedly over years isolates.
