摘要: Abstract Phase equilibria in the REFeB system (where RE represents total rare earth content of Indian Misch metal) at 1000 °C has been investigated ironrich side, up to about 40 at.% and 45 B, using metallography, X-ray diffraction thermomagnetic analysis techniques. The isothermal section shows presence two ternary intermediate phases which have identified as RE2Fe14B (Γ) REFe4B4 (Δ) phases. At iron end, a b.c.c. α phase found. Fe2B (β) practically no solubility RE. Γ appears very limited solid solubility. Both Δ are tetragonal with lattice parameters = 8.784 A , c 12.177 7.106 17.011 respectively. Curie temperature 245 Ms ≈ 120 e.m.u. g−1. also magnetic transition between 240 440 °C.
