摘要: This study was conducted in Agama Forest Kafa Zone, Southwestern Ethiopia, to assess species diversity, vegetation structure, and regeneration status of woody species. A systematic sampling technique employed collect data. Sixty (60) sample plots 25 m × 25 m were laid at 300 m intervals all along ten grids interspaced 800 m apart. Sample used record DBH H plant reaching a >2.5 cm height >2 m. For the inventory seedling sapling, two subplots 2 m × 5 m beginning end baseline on opposite sides main quadrat. Vegetation data such as DBH, height, seedling, sapling density recorded each plot. Altogether, 72 65 genera 35 families identified. Analysis selected tree showed diverse population structures. that small trees shrubs dominated Forest, which revealed its under secondary stage. Study structure some indicated there are require urgent conservation measures. Sound management monitoring, well maintenance biodiversity cultural economic values forest, activities encourage sustainable uses forest products.
