摘要: We have recently found that serum levels of pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF), a glycoprotein with anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory properties, are elevated in proportion to the accumulation number components metabolic syndrome. Since formation advanced glycation end products (AGEs) progress under syndrome PEDF could inhibit AGE-elicited tissue damage, it is conceivable may be increased as counter-system against AGEs patients However, correlation between circulating humans remains elucidated. In this study, we investigated relationship AGE general population examined effects on gene expression vitro. One hundred ninety-six Japanese subjects underwent complete history physical examination, determination blood chemistries, including PEDF. multiple regression analyses, creatinine, body mass index, triglycerides, insulin were independently correlated levels. dose-dependently cultured adipocytes liver cells. Our present study demonstrated first one independent correlates Adipose target organs for AGE-induced overexpression humans. Serum response damage.
