摘要: Background Epidemiological studies have found that triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and TN inflammatory (IBC) are associated with lower frequency duration of breast-feeding compared to non-TNBC non-TN IBC, respectively. Limited could reflect abrupt or premature involution contribute a “primed” stroma is permissive the migration cells typical IBC. We hypothesized gene expression related mammary gland after forced weaning may be enriched in tissues IBC patients and, if so, provide potential correlation between limited development aggressive cancer. Methods We utilized Short Time-series Expression Miner (STEM) program cluster significant signatures from two independent analyzed at multiple time-points mouse involution. Using 10 signatures, we performed ontology analysis set enrichment (GSEA) on training validation sets human data identify specific genes non-IBC groups. Results Examining combined data, identified clusters (Inv1-10) share time-dependent regulation weaning. Inv5 was only significantly (nominal p-values <0.05) by unadjusted (FDR q-values 0.26 0.46 respectively). Eight upregulated both Combining sets, Inv6 nominal <0.05 0.39 0.20, The time course for includes change within 12 hours weaning. Conclusions Results this silico study suggest molecular events during cancer. Specifically, candidate merit functional investigation regarding role development.
