摘要: Abstract We have successfully attempted to characterize the polyanionic collagen (PAC) intended for biomaterial and tissue engineering applications. PAC was obtained from type I by chemically linking additional carboxylic groups reactive free amino groups. These changes do not affect α chains morphology conformation in collagen. Pure bovine Achilles tendons allowed react slowly at pH 9 with succinic anhydride attain 96% conversion into confirmed trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TNBS) assay. Electrophoretic mobility pattern of α, β γ components shifted higher molecular weight 16,300 Da indicating modification Similarly, FTIR, CD DSC indicated retention triple helical PAC. Novelty lies its swelling behavior resulting dissolution thus offering transparency neutral buffer. The results here give us an opportunity use as injectable device applications up-regulatory efficiency cytoproliferation validates biocompatibile potentials.
