摘要: Abstract At the site level, communities who manage and conserve forests are parties influencing as well affected by deforestation forest degradation. Hence, understanding their roles in supporting or avoiding degradation is important to support national effort reducing carbon emissions from forest. This study aimed at: (1) examining communities' needs for products services; (2) analysing interests towards REDD+ activities emission activities; (3) options be developed into management plans It examines 9 provinces of Papua, Central Kalimantan, Riau. employs a qualitative approach through stakeholder interviews, focus group discussions field observations. The found that face some constraints managing ecosystem services impede role can expected utilisation non-timber services. Communities' joining programs reduce diverse, but capacity planning systematic use, including conservation relatively low. strengthening community-level organisational structures developing robust sustainable needed participation
