摘要: The jet engine industry relies on product models for early design predictions of attributes such as structural behavior, mass and cost. When the required analysis are not linked to governing model, effective coordination changes is a challenge, making space exploration time-consuming. Master modeling (MM) approaches can help alleviate overhead; MM concept has its origins in computer-aided (CAD) community, mandates that manual one model automatically propagate assembly, manufacturing (CAM) engineering (CAE) within CAD platform. Knowledge-based master also be used communicate definition external This paper presents details knowledge-based approach applied mechanical design, where different fidelity tools supported stages.
