摘要: Abstract Objective To determine incidence and risk factors of adverse events associated with pediatric cardiac catheterization in the initial experience our institution. Patients methods The retrospective cohort study was conducted on 262 children congenital heart disease who received between April 2010 2013. Diagnostic CC performed 176 patients therapeutic 86 patients. All children’s electronic paper chart records were reviewed to obtain demographic, procedural, treatment data. severities AE further classified into minor, moderate higher severity including levels 3, 4 or 5 AE. Results Of (147 females, 55.4%), occurred 31 studies (11.8%), ranging age from 3 days 16 years. There 7 (2.7%), (2.7%) 17 (6.5%) minor Vascular complications represented majority (n = 12; 38.7%). Two died within 24 h (0.7% total case numbers). for a complication included patient low body weight second year institution experience. Conclusions Pediatric by well trained team cardiologists new center is effective. rate occurrence AEs approximated those which are reported various interventional cardiology centers around world. lower
