摘要: The Austrian welfare system faces substantial challenges from the low labor market participation of those aged 55 plus and persistent early exit. This is partly due to female pension age, but also availability institutionalized financially attractive retirement pathways. Reforms in 2000s aimed at closing off pathways, boosting delaying transitions. However, even though rates have improved since, effect these reforms has been moderate, because mainly created financial disincentives retire a still generous state system. Negative perceptions about old age firm level preferences individuals additionally contribute trends. In summary, already implemented forthcoming measures might affect effective upcoming years. employers change their attitudes toward late significantly increase employment rates.
