摘要: Early postoperative treatment after Dupuytren's fasciectomy traditionally has included the application of mechanical stress to digital extension with splints and exercise. This study examines effect stress, which may compromise nutrient delivery tissues, on inflammation, flare, hypertrophic scar, range motion (ROM), therapy visits. The authors compared functional outcomes in operated digits treated postoperatively tension applied (TA) no (NTA), retrospectively from 1983 1993 (TA only) prospectively 1999 NTA). charts 268 patients who underwent were reviewed divided into 2 groups Each case was analyzed respect age, sex, number operated, management technique, visits, metacarpophalangeal joint proximal interphalangeal ROM, degree scar. There significant differences scar formation, time favor NTA technique. results indicate that prevents early phases wound healing decreases complications this surgery is lost
