摘要: Kola nut extract is used in the food industry as a flavoring ingredient. derived from seeds of primarily two tropical Cola species (Cola nitida (Vent.) Schott et Endl. or acuminata (Beauv.) Endl.) Family, Sterculiaceae. Present day consumption kola 0.69 mg/kg/day. Caffeine and theobromine are important constituents nuts. Although limited biological data available for specifically, published major nuts suggest pharmacological/toxicological properties extract, parallel to those roughly equivalent dose caffeine. Frank developmental/reproductive effects have not been reported changes offspring cannot be extrapolated humans. A NOEL/NOAEL defined repeated oral exposure data.
