摘要: Neutral complexes of CuII have been synthesised from the Schiff bases derived salicylidene-4-aminoantipyrine and PhNH2/substituted anilines. The structural features determined their microanalytical, i.r., u.v.–vis., 1H-, 13C-n.m.r., mass e.s.r. spectral data. All exhibit square-planar geometry. Their magnetic susceptibility measurements low conductance data provide evidence for monomeric non-electrolytic natures respectively. electrochemical behaviour in MeCN at 298 K was studied. kinetic parameters were are discussed. X-band spectra DMSO 300 77 recorded salient reported. powder XRD diffraction patterns all found to be similar. antimicrobial activity ligands copper against bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella typhi, Pseudomonas aerugenosa Bacillus subtilis also higher activities than those free bases. Moreover, they control (ampicillin) except pneumoniae aerugenosa.
