摘要: Electrospray ionization (ESI) has revolutionized mass spectrometry (MS), providing a facile method for the of macromolecules analysis by mass. The development nanoESI-MS further extended utility ESI-MS, permitting small-volume samples with enhanced sensitivity over conventional ESI-MS. Traditional experiments use pulled-glass capillary emitters, which are expensive to purchase and require specialized instruments training fabricate in-house. Furthermore, these emitters suffer from problems including clogging, sample contamination, irreproducible spray stability. Here, we report new emitter nanoESI-MS, made folding small pieces polyimide tape. In comparison inexpensive simple make. Their low cost makes them disposable after single use, such that contamination or clogging is never problem. Emitter performance been evaluated diverse analytes encompassing large range, molecules, peptides, proteins, synthetic polymers. all cases, similar advantages cost, ease disposability.
