摘要: Summary The study aimed to estimate the role of small rodents in circulation larval toxocarosis light their different habitats. From 2005 2008, a total 1523 rodents, belonging 11 species, were captured 5 habitats Slovakia. Anti-Toxocara antibodies detected 6.6 % animals. dominant reservoirs striped-field mouse Apodemus agrarius (11.7 %) and mound-building Mus spicilegus (10.7 %), while seropositivity voles was low. Sexually active adults infected more frequently (10.8%) comparison with inactive ones (5.2 %). According habitats, seroprevalence windbreaks (2.4 significantly lower (p < 0.05) than agrocoenoses (6.7 alluvia (8.5 ecotones (7.5 Log-linear analysis performed A. indicates that type habitat sexual activity affect Toxocara infection. highest observed alluvium (21.2 lowest windbreak (1.8 (χ 2 = 17.232, p 0.001) sexually mice characterised by 22.5 6.4 30.634, 0.001). occurrence pattern suggests they are permanent for spp. nature significant indicators egg contamination environs.
