摘要: Tumor vasculature is an attractive therapeutic target as it differs structurally from normal vasculature, and the destruction of a single vessel can lead to death many tumor cells. The effects antivascular drugs are frequently short term, with regrowth beginning less than 24 hours posttreatment. This study investigated duration response vascular targeting agent, ZD6126, GH3 prolactinoma, in which efficacy dose-response have previously been demonstrated. prolactinomas were grown flanks eight Wistar Furth rats. All animals treated 50 mg/kg ZD6126. tumors examined dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) pretreatment posttreatment, at time between 48 96 No evidence recovery perfusion was observed even longest (96-hour) point.
