摘要: Abstract Radioactive iodine, which is released into the atmosphere of containment building, absorbed spray water and dissolved to be ionized. This iodine-rich then transported in-containment refueling storage tank (IRWST) in APR1400 nuclear power plants. When pH below 7, iodine converts molecular re-evolves from returns atmosphere. A series studies have been conducted order evaluate re-evolution IRWST. study consists two parts: evaluation method re-evolution. paper presents first part, i.e. method. The equilibrium concentrations various chemicals a solution are determined at minimum Gibbs’ free energy. useful for complex reactant problems rather than constants because latter requires numerous there might missing associated with solution. calculated values solutions compared experimental measurements validate this thermodynamic data incorporated program. estimated good agreement within difference less 3.3%.
