摘要: Summary 1 The effects of habitat quality, patch size and connectivity between patches on patterns local extinction colonization collared pikas were studied over 7 years in alpine meadows the south-west Yukon. 2 Although adult population independently had a significant influence extinction, its was minimal when other variables included generalized linear models. Instead, an index quality found to be best predictors pika extinction. 3 Similarly, only partly explained recolonization talus by pikas. Other characteristics, including aspect, amount vegetation within based survival probability also recolonization. 4 These results suggest that need more fully incorporated into metapopulation
