摘要: A mullite-alumina composite sintered body composed of from 75 wt % to 85 Al 2 O 3 balance SiO , consisting two crystalline phases, mullite and α-phase alumina, being free glass phase, wherein both the average diameters grains alumina are not more than 1.0 μm, content having longitudinal-length less 2.5 μm is 1% or in observation a cross section said body, porosity less. The present invention produced by process comprising steps preparing starting powdery material containing amorphous phase 65 90 %, each particle contains sintering at temperature range 1500° C. 1650° has high bending strength exceeding 500 MPa room temperature.
