摘要: Embodiments are disclosed herein that involve C5-functionalized nucleic acids, which can be used for detecting a target in acid. Particular embodiments disclose methods making these compounds, wherein the compounds formed by coupling of an intermediate with linker. Certain use single nucleotide polymorphisms, and increasing thermal affinity acid complements as compared to unmodified complements. In addition, decrease enzymatic degradation acids.
