摘要: Abstract 1. Metabolic response of adult quail to fasting or refeeding was studied by measuring the main blood and hepatic metabolites. Moreover, fine structure hepatocytes in these physiological conditions described. 2. Starvation did not affect glycemia male as female quails. 3. Fasting had no effect on plasma free fatty acids quails, whereas triglycerides were markedly decreased. 4. In fasted there an active ketogenesis with a high 3-hydroxybutyrate/acetoacetate ratio. 5. Ultrastructural aspect liver parenchymal cells from quails revealed alterations quantity glycogen, smooth endoplasmic reticulum, lysosomes form rough reticulum. 6. The significance morphological changes discussed relation hormonal stimulation.
