摘要: The structurally ordered ?-Al4Mn complex intermetallic phase with 563 atoms in the giant unit cell shows typical broken-ergodicity phenomena of a magnetically frustrated spin system. low-field zero-field-cooled and field-cooled magnetic susceptibilities show splitting below freezing temperature Tf = 2.7?K. ac susceptibility exhibits frequency-dependent cusp, associated Tf(?). decay thermoremnant magnetization is logarithmically slow time dependence on aging tw cooling field Hfc an ultraslow out-of-equilibrium dynamics nonergodic system that approaches thermal equilibrium, but can never reach it experimentally accessible scale. above features classify intermettalic among glasses. origin frustration interactions was found to be geometrical due distribution significant fraction Mn spins triangles antiferromagnetic coupling. geometrically glass.
