摘要: A brief review of recent work dealing with nitrides selected intermetallic compounds is presented. Emphasis on those systems which are potential significance for high-energy permanent magnet fabrication. Of the many nitrogenated intermetallics that have been studied, only Sm/sub 2/Fe/sub 17/N/sub x/ and NdTiFe/sub 11/N/sub seem promising Nitrides 2:17 show Sm compound has appropriate properties. This unfortunate because scarcity high cost Sm. can be alleviated partially by replacing a portion Mischmetal. Considerable replacement effected slight loss desirable It further pointed out conventional powder metallurgical techniques unsuitable fabrication using these decompose at sintering temperatures. Bonded magnets Zn as bonding agent lead to 10 MGOe magnets. >
