摘要: Acyclovir (ACV), an acyclic purine analog 9-(2-hydroxyethoxymethyl) guanine, is a potent antiviral agent with specific inhibitory activity against several members of the herpesvirus group. Antiviral ACV results from series phosphorylation reactions, first which catalyzed by HSV-specific thymidine kinase. The triphosphorylated form serves as both substrate and inhibitor herpes DNA polymerase.
