摘要: The natural 20 kDa-variant of human growth hormone (hGH) binds with high affinity to IM-9 lymphocyte receptors, in agreement its potency biological assays for promoting and lactogenic activities. In contrast, kDa-hGH has only 3% the 22 binding receptors normal hypophysectomized rat adipocytes. potency, is as potent stimulating lipogenesis adipocytes preincubated a few hours hGH-free medium. also much weaker than from rats. These data strongly support concept that adipocyte receptor, which mediates insulin-like effects hormone, different receptor found on lymphocytes. Preincubation hGH induces refractoriness subsequent activation by but does not abolish response insulin, while preincubation insulin slightly potentiates change response. Additivity studies detailed comparison lipogenic suggest shares subset metabolic pathways activated insulin.
