摘要: This paper deals with neural based image processing and developed solutions using the ZISC-036 neuro-processor, an IBM hardware processor which implements Restricted Coulomb Energy algorithm (RCE) K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). The techniques have been applied for enhancement in order to restore old movies (noise reduction, focus correction, etc.), improve digital television images, or treat images require adaptive processing. Experimental results, validating exposed concepts, reported showing quantitative qualitative improvement as well efficiency of our solutions.
